In Search of Silence

Your love is the space

In which I exist.

Your truth and inspiration

Drive light

Into the darkest corners

Of my life.

If time were mine to give,

I would give it all to you.

Walk awhile upon my journey

And steal a place in my heart.

With your eyes,

Upon these words,

You, kindred spirit,

Can touch my soul.

The above are a few words from ” In Search of Silence” a personal Christian journey in search of spiritual peace, a collection of 45 poems of Love, Peace and Hope written by myself, Chris Roe.

Chris was born in the rural county of Norfolk, England, in 1948, where he has lived and worked for much of his life. Most of his working career has been spent within the agricultural industry. Chris’ love of nature, the countryside
and the time spent in the agricultural industry is very much reflected in his poetry.

Although individual poems have been published in the USA, Canada and the UK, ” In Search of Silence” is the first complete collection of work published to date. Chris looks forward to publishing more of his work in the
future and sharing my words and thoughts with those who care to read.

The collection of work is available on line at , where you can find more details regarding me and my work.
