Forever Grateful

We are forever grateful for God’s abundant blessing on this ministry! Our first foot on African soil was in Uganda; God has increased our borders to include Kenya and South Sudan. We are confident that He will provide the physical staff needed in these areas as His work continues to expand.
Dear friends and partners,
Things have been a bit busy since our return from South Sudan in July; I wanted to update you on few things.
First off, we are proud to announce our daughter’s wedding at the end of this month. This has kept us busy with showers, fittings, and all the usual celebrations that go on prior to a wedding! Mark and I are excited to welcome Andy as our son-in-law; we’re happy to see our family expanding. Andy is in college with a career in the Army and is set to graduate next spring. Please keep Andy and Sommer in prayer as they start off their new life together!

Secondly, we are forever grateful for God’s abundant blessing on this ministry! Our Heart Partners program has truly been an act of God’s provision and testimony to His faithfulness. Through the generosity of faithful partners we are able to continue on with the work that God alone has begun. Our first foot on African soil was in Uganda and God has increased the borders to include Kenya and South Sudan. We are confident that He will provide the physical staff needed in these areas as His work

continues to expand. If you would like to become a Heart Partner, you still have opportunity. Click here for details about supporting this ministry as a Heart Partner

In addition, we now have our Summer 2016 mission application available. Sign up now as there are limited spaces available. We will be ministering in Uganda through men’s conferences, teacher’s conferences, youth conferences, Smile Africa ministry with the Karamojong orphans, and more. The dates are June 20 – July 3, 2016. Click here for the application.  We are also once again collecting prescription glasses for children and reading glasses for adults.  Dates for a Kenya/South Sudan trip next summer are still uncertain but will be announced once we reach a decision.
More praise and thanksgiving to our faithful God as our pastors in South Sudan now have transportation. Thank you to those who provided this blessing that will allow the pastors to reach more areas effectively and continue to spread the gospel to those yet unreached. Pastor Joseph has reached the village of the man who accepted Christ in Lodwar on our last visit; we are anxiously awaiting that update. Photos coming soon. Pray for Pastor Mark as he continues to minister to the church in Korjip and for the borehole project that is still underway. Click here for more information and to learn how you can participate in this critically important project.
And finally, Eagle Center school has been added to our website for child sponsorship.  Click here to meet the children; we pray God will use many of you to impact the lives of these children by providing an education and the key to the future. We also welcome David Gathura as our Heart of God Africa Board representative in Kenya. We are expecting God to use David and his wife Mary for great things in the Kingdom.

Praise God from Whom ALL BLESSINGS FLOW~
